Marcus Whitman Hotel || Floor Focus Magazine May 2025

An article featuring Principal Danielle Leatherman, NCIDQ on enduring the legacy of the Marcus Whitman Hotel. With a focus on flooring in the article, we design hospitality environments for precise style and high performance. We work closely with ownership and operations to better understand their systems and maintenance schedules to better understand the needs for the project. For this project and location in Walla Walla Wine country – it’s key that the floors are easy to clean and stains managed so the space feels fresh for years. It’s often that properties might have to stretch the lifespan out of a floor finish and putting in quality products yield better results for the long term. This also reduces the need for replacement lowering the environmental factor.
